Tomorrow is veterans day. If you see a Vet, thank a Vet. We have the freedom that many take for granted because of their service and sacrifice. No need to preach on this page. If you are reading this you already know. Whether retired or active duty, thank you all for making this a country, a place of opportunity for all. Im personally thanking my father and stepfather for their service.

Well we are glad that the first summer retreat week in honor of both a police family and Firefighter family was able to honor two great heroes. This charity was successful in putting smiles on every face at the events. Camping, cooking BBQ, campfires with marshmallows and smores, swimming in the pool, surf lessons, miniature golf and fantasy island amusement park. Happy happy children smiling and laughing until.their sides hurt. We thank all of the supporters, volunteers and businesses who helped make it a success. Please be a part of next summer's retreat. And all fall and winter we need support, volunteers and donations to help "Hambone's" therapy farm stay available to veterans, widows and children who the therapy farm give solace and peace to.

Well on the last day we met so many new and wonderful people at the jeep invasion in Tennessee. Including a couple who brought their pet albino wallaby (kangaroo) and marmoset monkey. Kim kissed the wallaby and the monkey face her a love bite on her cheek. But we handed out 100's of charity business cards and brochures throughout the day and evening.

Well day 2 at great smoky mountain jeep invasion, pretty successful. Nice people, "Real Americans" gave some donations and talked to us about the charity and experiences in their own military, law enforcement and first responder families. Lots of interesting stories from current and former heroes. Thank you all for your service. We also met a cute beagle rescue and hopefully made an ongoing connection with them as well. Well the first day of the Great smoky mountain jeep event was very nice. Met a lot of "Real Americans". They took the time to ask about the charity and listen to what it's trying to accomplish. Very nice people out here. People took business cards and brochures. Made donations in support of the mission. Great experience for the first day and it's only a Thursday. We will see how we make out Friday and Saturday. Thabks everyone.

Heading to Pidgeon Forge Tennessee for the Great Smoky Mountains jeep event. Hoping to gain more support than we received from the wildwood jeep invasion. 40 foot of motor home and 23 feet of car hauler. 12 hour drive with traffic.

Just wanted to thank you for your service to the United States Marine Veteran who we had the pleasure of having him stay on our therapy farm while he was temporarily homeless. He was able to get his housing. We are glad this was the case. Some of the words in this post should not be in a sentence. U.S. Marine, "temporarily" and "homeless". But unfortunately it's far to common. We "will not" be adding his name in this post. Only to say thank you sir for your service to your country and we hope your future continues to improve. You are always welcome to come visit all the therapy animals here on the farm.
