Join us for our August Pot Luck on Friday the 18th at 6pm. Bring something to share , such as a salad, entree or dessert. We will supply the hamburgers and hotdogs. Come and relax and enjoy friends— old and new! We look forward to seeing you!!!

Saturday, August 12th, Effingham Historical Society will be open from 9am until 2pm.
From 9am until 12 noon, the museum will be open. At he same time, we will have Chocolate Sundaes available. (Rumor has it that they might be blueberry sauce also available).
At 1pm, Effingham Historical Society will host the Effingham Conservation Commission with their program about “Animals with Bad Reputations”.

JUNE PROGRAM
As guests of the Freedom Historical Society, we will be traveling to Freedom for the 7PM program. Freedom Historical Society, a part of Effingham’s past, continues to explore the History of Freedom businesses and has expanded the years to 1935, featuring new photographs and stories on entrepreneurs and businesses that made Freedom such a special place over the years. The Allard House also has new works of art on display by Freedom Painters, 1970-2020 and it also has a New Acquisitions Exhibit spotlighting recent donations to FHS’ collections.
As their guests for our June program, we will be traveling to Freedom for the 7PM program.
After the tour, light refreshments will follow.
