International Hospitality Program at SIUE

Directions Website

International Hospitality Program at SIUE IHP offers friendship and a cultural exchange. Students do not live with the hosts in this program. Host Families

The IHP consists of about 50 host families.

These families each, in their own way, connect with an international student, (or 2,or 3, or…). These connections are mutually rewarding, both the student and the family learn and grow from the experience. The host families are the engine of the program, providing the volunteer services, food and support for our various events and activities. International Students

The international students come to SIUe from around the globe. About 200 students arrive each year. They are bright, enthusiastic scholars reaching out from their homeland on a journey to learn about the world.
