Doug Behme Foundation The Doug Behme Foundation was established in loving memory of John Douglas “Doug” Behme. On April 6, 2016 Doug was injured in a work-related accident.

The Doug Behme Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance and opportunities to those who have been victims of burn injuries, as well as to their children and their families. The Doug Behme Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance and opportunities to those who have been affected by burn injuries, as well as

to their children and their families. He spent 24 days in the Burn Center at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri before he joined his Lord and Savior on April 29, 2016. During the time spent at Mercy, Doug’s family received an overwhelming amount of love, support and assistance from friends, co-workers, church family, members of several communities and complete strangers. Because of this outpouring of generosity and the impact it had on Doug's family, our mission is to support those who have been affected by burn injuries as well as their families and to let them know that "it'll be okay."
