The EEA negotiating team has been hard at work meeting with district administration this summer to negotiate a contract. We are sharing the recent post from the EEA here. ☀️

As a community, we should understand how our tax dollars are used to pay our teachers and staff. 💰

Here is the most recent information posted by the EEA. ℹ️

EEA Members Only: Please plan to attend and vote on the Tentative Agreement TOMORROW, JULY 24TH! If you are unable to attend on Thursday, members will have additional opportunities to vote on
Friday, July 25: 9am - 11am
Monday, July 28: 12pm - 2pm
Tuesday, July 29: 5pm - 7pm
Highlights include 5 weeks of paid paternity leave, an additional personal day, 25% contribution to family insurance, and an increase in the internal subbing rate. Vote results will be shared Tuesday night.

Yesterday the negotiating team for the EEA was thanked by the membership. This team has been working for months to help establish a fair contract to keep our dedicated teachers here in D7. Our community wants to keep its teachers here. Thank you for your hard work!

Before the 11th meeting for contract negotiations EEA members showed up to support their negotiating team.

If agreement is not reached soon, the community will need to stand with our teachers as well!
