Going forward this page will not post info about wrestling. I was notified tonight by the varsity wrestling coach that I am no longer running the myway program for edwardsburg. Zack Dawson will be taking over. Most of you know him as he ran practices for me 2 years ago. Great guy and really knows his stuff he will do wonders for these kids. I'm glad I got this program on track and up and running again. It was an honor getting to know the families here and coaching your kids. My 1st wave of kids I coached graduated last year. So it's been a blessed and fun 5 years. I'm really looking forward to seeing what this program becomes.

Congrats to Jaxson Hoover on state championship and the other 3 state qualifiers 2 finished 7th Tanner Hursh and Caden Reece. And 8th place with Tyler Lock! 4 out of the 6 placed. Drew Bidwell and Jeremy Walker also get a shout out!

Has of right now we think we have access to a mat for practices but haven't found any where to set up for practices yet. Restrictions this year kids are required to wear mask at practice and at tournaments while wrestling. No schedule released yet or anything else. But if we can practice i will probably not have the club go on this year. If that's the case. There is options to sign up independent or in other clubs around. However alot of clubs have already shut down. message me for details.

Unfortunately at this point we are not allowing non-school teams to use our facilities so MYWAY will have to find another facility. Not sure if this will change later is school year or not, I will let you know when I receive updates.

Sorry, wish I had better news

So if anyone has a lead on an alternate practice facility would love to hear ideas. Otherwise it looks like we won't have a season.

Have alot of people asking and we still don't have answers. Waiting on myway state board to decide which is waiting to see what high school is doing. As soon as I know about the season ill meet with coaches and discuss what we can do. Please all stay safe until then!
