🔌 EVCF is so pleased to recognize the success of ReEnergize Eagle County, a collaborative program sponsored by Walking Mountains, Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG) Energy Program, and Eagle County Government .

🔋ReEnergize Eagle County provides participating households with a free comprehensive home energy assessment, personalized energy coaching, and home improvements designed to improve residential comfort, health, and energy efficiency.

✅ The response from the community has been significant: the 2026 ReEnergize Eagle County program is now FULL, with 80 households enrolled!

💠 We are proud to recognize MIRA’s important role as a local recruiting partner, bringing the program directly into the neighborhoods where MIRA provides services, identifying households that could benefit, and helping residents complete and submit their applications.

🔹 From January through June 2026, MIRA helped 39 local households apply for ReEnergize Eagle County—connecting neighbors directly to an opportunity to make their homes healthier, more comfortable, and more energy efficient.

🌀Through the work of our MIRA team, guided by community outreach expert Luz Rios and supported by MIRA energy interns Steven and Deysi, students at Colorado Mountain College, the program reached the neighborhoods where MIRA works—helping residents navigate the application process from start to submission.

One powerful example of community collaboration in action. 🌱🏠

🌿 AND for the green path ahead⁉ Walking Mountains has started a wait list for 2027 ReEnergize so please share with the community!

A tremendous donation—and an incredible team effort! 🌱

Kiowa Valley Organics generously donated 12 pallets of fresh, organic produce to help nourish the more than 6,000 neighbors served by The Community Market each week.

The donation was made possible through Uproot, which gleans and redistributes surplus, nutrient-dense agricultural food to local hunger-relief efforts, and Alliance Moving, which provided the essential transportation and logistical support.

We are deeply grateful to Kiowa Valley Organics, UpRoot Colorado, and Alliance Record Services and Alliance Moving Systems for working together to bring fresh, nutritious food to our community! 💚

💜 On August 31, purple isn’t just a color—it’s a message.

EVCF is proud to stand with Reconnected Foundation for International Overdose Awareness Day. Wear purple to remember those we’ve lost, support those impacted, raise awareness, and remind our community that overdose is preventable and every life matters.

💜 Let’s turn Eagle County purple—with remembrance, connection, support, and hope.

🚀 Elevar: Growing Entrepreneurs. Strengthening Community.

💼 Through Elevar, Eagle Valley Community Foundation is investing in the entrepreneurs and small business owners who help shape the economic and social fabric of our community.

🔆 More than an entrepreneurship program, Elevar creates a space for learning, connection, mentorship, leadership development, and opportunity—equipping local entrepreneurs with practical tools to build stronger businesses while fostering a deeper commitment to community.

🪨 El Trueque: Entrepreneurship With Purpose
One of Elevar’s most distinctive experiences is El Trueque (The Trading Challenge).

Each participant begins with three ordinary rocks and one extraordinary challenge: turn those rocks into money through creativity, networking, negotiation, and entrepreneurial ingenuity.

The exercise is about far more than the money. It challenges participants to recognize opportunity where others may not, build relationships, think resourcefully, and put entrepreneurial skills into action.

At graduation, participants donate the money they generate to Eagle County Gives —transforming a lesson in entrepreneurship into an act of generosity.

🙌🏾 Because at Elevar, success isn’t measured only by what you build for yourself. It’s also measured by what you give back.

🪨 Three rocks. 💡 Big ideas. 💥 Community impact.

👶🏽👧🏾👦🏻 When We Know the Data, We Can Change the Story.

🤔 What is the latest KIDS COUNT in Colorado data telling us about the well-being of children and families in our county—and what should we be asking next?

💜🩵 Members of the Colorado Children's Campaign will be coming to communities for a focused presentation and community discussion of the 2026 KIDS COUNT data, examining indicators across education, economic security, health, and early childhood.

🎒📚 From our Eagle Valley Community Foundation family to yours, we wish every child a school year filled with curiosity, confidence, belonging, and the opportunity to thrive.

🌟 As a new chapter begins, we’re reminded that a child’s well-being is shaped by far more than what happens in the classroom. Strong families and thriving communities are built when people have access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities that support them across every stage of life.

Through 🍎 The Community Market, 🩺 MIRA Bus, and 🔆 Elevar, EVCF works alongside our community to advance health, wellness, nourishment, connection, and opportunity—helping families navigate life’s journey with greater stability and possibility.

🌱 Here’s to a healthy, joyful, and inspiring year ahead for every child—and to a community committed to helping every family thrive.
