Eagle Valley Community Foundation will be closed Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

We acknowledge that the Eagle Valley is part of the ancestral homeland of the Ute people and honor their enduring connection to this land, along with the histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples today.

Through The Community Market, MIRA, and Elevar, we see how deeply connected nourishment, health, opportunity, and belonging are. Caring for our community means recognizing those connections and our shared responsibility to the land and to one another.

We invite our neighbors to join us in taking time to learn, listen, and honor Indigenous voices.

October is here, and we’re still feeling the love from Hunger Action Day! 🧡

We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up for The Community Market and our neighbors. Every conversation, helping hand, and act of generosity reminded us what’s possible when our community comes together.

🍼 Community Baby Shower — tonight!
Join us and help support local families as they welcome their little ones.

🧶 Operation House Blanket — Friday, October 9, noon–2 p.m.
Help tie blankets at The Community Market’s Gypsum warehouse for families attending the MIRA Health Fair. We still need at least 14 more volunteers!

💙 MIRA Health Fair — Saturday, October 24, 3–6 p.m.
Volunteer at the Eagle River Center and help create a welcoming afternoon of health resources, connection, and a free dinner for our community.

Join the EVCF Women’s Group and ARTSPACE for a Community Baby Shower this evening. Bring a friend and a new, unopened baby essential to donate while enjoying time with neighbors who care about our community.

Because lasting change is not created by one organization, one program, or one month on the calendar. It is built when neighbors recognize one another’s needs, share what they have, create pathways to opportunity, and choose—again and again—to show up.

Together, we can turn awareness into action, action into access, and access into a stronger, more nourished community.
