'Bright Future Foundation’s mission is Making Futures Bright: changing lives impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. In partnership with Vail Valley Cares, each year Bright Future Foundation supports 1,000 survivors and their families with crisis intervention, advocacy, and long-term healing programs and provides over 18,000 nights of safe housing.
For 41 years, Bright Future Foundation has empowered survivors and families impacted by violence through comprehensive and trauma-informed services. Our prevent, protect, prevail model is designed to address the diverse needs of survivors and create long-lasting change in families and the community. The success of our work is driven by our dedicated team and evidence-based programs. Our staff provides proactive and culturally sensitive services, including: a 24/7 crisis line, safehouse/emergency shelter, advocacy and case management, Sexual Assault Nurse Exam/Forensic Nurse Exam (SANE/FNE) accompaniment, Rapid ReHousing and housing stabilization services, behavioral health services, legal services, youth advocacy and mentoring, and violence prevention and outreach education.'
