'CASA of the Continental Divide guides volunteer advocates who ensure a child’s safety, best interest, and well-being are at the forefront of legal proceedings.
CASACD advocates for children who’ve experienced abuse, neglect, or barriers to school attendance through our Dependency and Neglect and Truancy programs. In 2024, we expanded services in Eagle County by launching the Safe Exchange and Parenting Time (SEPT) program in partnership with Eagle County DHS, offering supervised parenting time in a safe, neutral setting.
Our CASA volunteers go beyond monitoring—they build trust with each child, investigate their needs, and advocate for them in court. These services meet critical needs not addressed by any other organization. We’re also working to improve communication through better access to translation and interpretation.'
