May 17 is World NF Awareness Day 🌎💚💙 A day to stand with the millions of people around the world living with Neurofibromatosis and the families, friends, and care teams walking beside them.

For some, NF means surgeries, scans, and a body that doesn't always feel like home. For others, it's a parent rearranging a career, a sibling growing up as a caregiver, or a family driving hundreds of miles for an appointment no local hospital can offer. For every family, it means navigating a condition most people have never heard of.

NF Awareness Month is about more than a color or a hashtag; it’s about making sure no family walks this road alone. Last year, the Slyve family attended the NF Summit through the B the Difference NF Summit Scholarship, a program that covers travel, lodging, and registration, so cost is never the reason a family misses out on education and connection.

While many people have not heard of NF, Children's Tumor Foundation NF Summit changes that - for families, for researchers, for the next person who needs to feel seen.
