Fourth of July update and reminder of the General meeting held at the pavilion this Sat, July 11th at 9:30 AM, all is welcome, please join us.

Thank you to everyone that came and joined us Saturday at the pancake breakfast and bake sale. For those that we had to turn away because we ran out, please try us again, we will make sure to have more mix next year.
Thank you to those that donated: Jackmans meat processing, Busy Bees for the donated desserts and to the others that delivered items for the bake sale.Thank you to the ladies that donated the 4th of July basket, the multi household item basket and the beautiful twin afghan that was raffled. Left over baked goods were donated to Colony church for Sunday visitors to enjoy.

A huge Thank you to the board members for Volunteering their time to help with this annual fundraiser for our community. The cooks: JR Smith, Floyd Greathouse and Tim Doherty. The crew: Mike McBride, Wilma Smith, Rhonda Cross, Michelle Doherty, Valorie Fender, Suzy Stone and Tressie Hawkins.

Thank you to the community for joining us and supporting the area you live and belong too. We can not do this without you, in a couple of hours we served 75 plates of pancakes and sold out, that alone raised $750. Thats possibly 2 loads of gravel or an overdue need of a fixed culvert. It all helps when we dont have much to work with, we will continue to try to raise it and hope you join us for the next Fish Fry, Labor Day Weekend. Still serving it at $10 a plate, nowhere else can you get a meal like that for that price.

Breakdown:
Pancakes $750, Bake goods $343, Raffle $80. Minus $70 expenses brings the total to $1103. $150 was donated for the fireworks fund for 2027.

Thank you,
Rhonda Cross
Corresponding Secretary

4th of July weekend updates:
Serving "all you can eat" pancake breakfast for $10 a plate and our annual bake sale, Saturday 4th of July 8-11 AM at the Pavilion shelter house, off of Vineyard Circle near the Osage boat ramp. We raised and donated a little over a thousand dollars to help with the expense of this years display. We will begin accepting monetary donations for next year's fireworks at the event.
Fireworks will be held weather permitting, please arrive before dark and dont forget your lawn chairs, same location.
We welcome any donated baked goods for our fundraiser, if you are interested in donating please contact Rhonda Cross or Wilma Smith. We would like donated items either scheduled for drop off the night before or prior to 8am at the pavilion.

Road update: the Road committee has a plan in place to begin after the 4th of July weekend. We base our gravel and grader expense on paid due members. We have approximately $4500 to work with. Gravel is costing about $350 a load and the road grader, Mr. Yoder, is no longer available to assist us.
We have had several lot owners offering to donate a load of gravel for their area, if you are interested the road committee can assist with ordering and spreading it, please contact Wilma Smith for payment and area location. We would like to have all donations completed before 4th of July so they can get rolling on the repairs and fingers crossed we dont receive anymore huge rain falls.
Please contact, Floyd Greathouse, JR Smith or Dave Curtis with road concerns.

Hope to see you on the 4th, all is welcome to join, please share about our fundraiser with your friends and family and help us help the community improve and gather to enjoy the beautiful fireworks either by land or water.

Thank you,
Rhonda Cross, Corresponding Secretary
