Need some relaxation and community in your life right now?

Join us for a community coffee meetup at Color Coffee in Eagle at 5:30pm, followed by our Yoga for Every Body class at Yoga off Broadway at 6:45pm!

This session will be a relaxing and restorative practice to promote deep relaxation and connection. Open to everyone, this space welcomes all experience levels while supporting the LGBTQ+ community and allies alike.

This yoga class is free thanks to the generosity and support of Vail Health!

TOMORROW NIGHT!

Join our Read With Pride Book Club in partnership with The Bookworm of Edwards. The book club will discuss One Word, Six Letters, a novel about two teen boys who grapple with identity and accountability and set off a ripple effect within their community after a school assembly is disrupted by a shouted slur.

Everyone is welcome—even if you haven’t finished the book! Whether you’re here for the historical deep dive or just want to hang out with a wonderful group of people, we can’t wait to see you.

Mountain Pride is seeking passionate individuals to make a meaningful impact on our LGBTQ+ community in Lake County. We are currently hiring for our Youth and Family Engagement Manager position!

📍This position is an in person position and requires living in Eagle County, or the surrounding area. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator, youth and family advocate, and collaborator who brings creativity, joy, safety, cultural humility, and passion for supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and families in rural communities.

At Mountain Pride, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community. If you're passionate about making a difference and connecting individuals with essential resources, we want to hear from you!

Are you part of the LGBTQ+ or Latine community? Join us for our next Belonging Colorado Cohort!

Gretchen and Orlando will lead folks for five sessions of gathering, togetherness, storytelling, and delicious food. Learn a new recipe each session, and cook and eat the meal together. Then take a meal kit home to create the experience again with family and friends.

When: First Session is August 20th--Program runs through mid-november
Where: Battle Mountain High School Kitchen Classrooms
Cost: FREE!

Can't participate but want to help make this project a reality? Volunteer to prep meal kits once a month to distribute to program participants and families throughout the community.

We have an update from our partners One Colorado regarding Medicaid and CHIP coverage of transgender healthcare for minors.

We know this is scary and we are here for you. Please reach out if you need resources or support. We, alongside our partners, are going to continue to work to make sure that our community, friends, and family can live their lives authentically and fully.
