SOAR

SOAR SOAR is a community team focused on the resiliency and support of teens connected to Edwards AFB.

The SOAR Team was created to help support and encourage teens that are connected to Edwards (active duty/civilian and on/off base). We saw a need for teens to feel connected during this difficult time and formed a team to try and help. The team consists of teens, parents of teens, members of our helping agencies, and other adults who have backgrounds in working with youth and mental health. The te

en side of SOAR focuses on creating ways for our teens to stay connected, while the adult side works on supporting the teens' efforts and connecting the community to opportunities for our teens and their families.

Not a day goes by that we don’t think of you and the light you brought into this world. Your laughter, your kindness, and your beautiful spirit left a mark on all of us that will never fade.

Losing you changed us forever. But through that heartbreak, your life continues to inspire something meaningful. In your honor, we created SOAR—a space dedicated to supporting teen mental health, spreading awareness, and reminding others that they are never alone. This is your legacy… one of hope, love, and compassion.

We miss you more than words can ever express, but we carry you with us in everything we do.
