Earlier this week, members of 26-27’ officer team got together for the annual officer retreat! Officers participated in multiple activities that worked on building leadership skills, getting to know their teammates more, and laying the foundation for a great Program of Activities.

The officers team looks forward to a busy year ahead with FFA activities and outreach opportunities. Thank you to Cindy for attending and sharing remarks on behalf of the Alumni and bringing supper to our group to bond together over a meal. Another, thank you goes the Reitzel’s for allowing our group to have our retreat at The Shed!

Last night the senior class had their academic and scholarship awards evening. The Edon FFA
alumni presented 4 scholarships to senior members.

Congratulations to all of our senior FFA members and the rest of the class of 2026 on their success and for taking the next steps towards future achievements!

Today Edon FFA upperclassman participated in an outreach activity with our 3rd grade classes! Students and members worked together to learn what plants need to grow! Then completed a grid looking at clues about air, nutrients, water and light.

Students also picked out a packet of seeds and created a Mother’s Day card that looks like a seed packet to give to someone special in their lives.

Edon FFA had a great time at the Ohio FFA State Convention! From exploring the Career & Expo show to listening to keynote speakers to time at Ninja Citi Adventure Park and a lively dinner at Chili’s to celebrating state achievements these 2 days had it all!

Thank you to Edon FFA Alumni for the monetary support towards this trip providing a wonderful and accessible opportunity for members. Also, thanks to Driftwood Photography for capturing and sharing some of the moments.

We closed out our time at State Convention by celebrating our 4 state degree recipients! These members have put in countless hours of hard work and dedication into their SAE projects, FFA involvement and community service with strong recordkeeping skills to achieve the golden charm of the Ohio FFA State Degree.

Congrats to Danielle Juhasz, Maddy Ogden, Ella Osborn, and Lydia Tracey for representing your chapter well and earning this achievement!

The 2nd day of the Ohio FFA convention started with celebrating our gold rated officers! These individual put in hours of hard work fulfilling their roles of their office and submitted officer books that were judged at the state level.

Congratulations to Makayla Anspaugh, Gold Rated Secretary and Madison Ogden, Gold Rated Treasurer for your outstanding achievement!

Today 12 Edon FFA members have traveled to Columbus for the first day of the Ohio FFA Convention! This morning members walked the career and expo show and this afternoon attended the 2nd general session.

We want to thank everyone that helped to create a year full of success! The Edon FFA Banquet was an evening made only possibly by the hard work of our members, Officer team, and many who volunteered their time or resources. It was a privilege to celebrate our members and highlight the mission and legacy of the Edon FFA with our members and community!

We were excited to have had special moments at the FFA banquet captured and look forward to sharing them. Photos will be posted soon! Do you have photos from the banquet you’d like to share too? Put them in the comments!
