Can Anyone Tell Me is practical and informative and serves as gentle guide to the questions that swirl around the grief experience.
Even the table of contents, posed as a series of questions, is a reminder of how disorienting grief can be:
Why does my brain feel so broken?
Why is my body so out of whack?
Why are are my emotions so volatile?
How long is grief supposed to take?

This book can be read cover to cover or pulled out and searched when specific questions arise. It’s a book helpful for grievers and for those who care about someone who is grieving.
Can Anyone Tell Me feels like a conversation with a wise friend.

Losing someone to drug overdose changes your life forever. The grief is heavy, the questions feel endless, and the loneliness can be overwhelming. None of us are meant to carry that weight alone. We had an incredible conference in person and on zoom on how to support those who are struggling through this.

Make plan A…and plan B…and plan C!
Be flexible not just with the big plans but also with yourself minute by minute.
The anticipation of a date on the calendar can be very difficult, and it can be hard to predict what you think you will need.
