Youth expertise leads to better policies. Young people understand the gaps in systems like mental health, education, immigration, and juvenile justice because they experience them directly. Their insight produces more effective, targeted reforms.

A Stronger, Healthier Moxee Valley

CHWCMR is committed to expanding this work. With the support of our CHWs, community partners, and residents, we are building a model that can be replicated across rural Washington. Our next steps include:

Training more CHWs in environmental health

Expanding our air quality workshops

Increasing access to air purifiers and protective equipment

Strengthening partnerships with schools and agricultural employers

Advocating for policies that protect rural families from environmental harm

The Moxee Valley deserves clean air, healthy homes, and a future where every family can breathe freely. Together, with community leadership at the center, we are making that future possible.

Men’s mental health matters.
Strength is not silence. Courage is not pretending everything is fine. Real bravery is being honest about the weight you carry — stress, fear, exhaustion, grief, pressure to “hold it all together.”

Too many men grow up hearing that emotions are weakness. That asking for help is failure. That vulnerability is something to hide.
But the truth is simple: your mind deserves care just as much as your body.

If you’re struggling, you’re not alone.
If you’re tired, you’re not broken.
If you need support, you deserve it.

Talk to someone you trust. Reach out. Take the first step.
Your story matters. Your wellbeing matters. You matter.
