This is one of the opportunities to attend the Skywarn storm spotter training. Another good opporunity is on Thursday, March 26 in Norman.

This year is Payne County's turn to host the tri-county area storm spotter training. We rotate every year between Payne, Lincoln and Logan County.

This year it will be in Stillwater.

Severe weather awareness saves lives. Attend Storm Spotter Training presented by the National Weather Service on Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stillwater Community Center. FREE and open to residents of Payne, Logan, and Lincoln Counties.

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of Bob Coxsey, KM5GZ, who became a Silent Key this afternoon, September 15, 2025.

Bob was a dedicated member of EARS for many years, always ready to take on any task that was needed. He was a true friend to everyone he met and never seemed to meet a stranger. Bob was known for his willingness to help fellow hams with questions and challenges, and his kindness and generosity touched many in our community.

Bob will be deeply missed. Service information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

73, Bob, until we meet again.
