Edmond Amateur Radio Society - EARS Formed in 1957, the Edmond Amateur Radio Society is a full-service amateur radio club.

We assist our community with emergency and weather nets, conduct licensing classes, and actively participate in HF operations such as Field Day.

We are pleased to announce our plans for field day. Field Day is Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28. We will be at the Oklahoma City Gun Club and operations will take place at the pavilion and large open area just inside the main gate.

This is one of the opportunities to attend the Skywarn storm spotter training. Another good opporunity is on Thursday, March 26 in Norman.

This year is Payne County's turn to host the tri-county area storm spotter training. We rotate every year between Payne, Lincoln and Logan County.

This year it will be in Stillwater.

Severe weather awareness saves lives. Attend Storm Spotter Training presented by the National Weather Service on Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stillwater Community Center. FREE and open to residents of Payne, Logan, and Lincoln Counties.
