Meet Clark, MOJ's most popular staff member. 💙

His daily responsibilities include accepting pets, boosting morale, supervising counseling sessions from the floor, and collecting his daily treat from the boss (his favorite part of the job).

Clark was born for this work. He has a special gift for turning stress into smiles, anxiety into laughter, and bad days into tail wags. Whether he's offering a comforting nuzzle, a slobbery kiss, or simply showing up at the perfect moment, Clark reminds us that sometimes healing comes with four legs and a wagging tail.

We're pretty sure everyone at MOJ has a favorite coworker... and we're pretty sure it's Clark. 🐾

Today marks an exciting first for Ministries of Jesus!

After nearly two years of building connections, we are honored to join the Mexican Consulate at one of their Community Fairs. With 16 organizations represented, we’re grateful to have a seat at the table and the opportunity to share resources, hope, and whole-person care with our community.

We’re also excited to see a familiar face! Paty Rodriguez, a former MOJ social services intern, is now serving with the Latino Community Development Agency (LCDA). It’s always encouraging to see former volunteers continuing to make an impact.

And if you’re wondering where Scotty is today… he’s out in the community again, doing what he does best—building relationships, sharing the mission of MOJ, and making friends everywhere he goes.

TONIGHT!!!

A lot of men are silently carrying struggles they never thought they’d talk about. Shame, isolation, secrecy, and patterns they genuinely want freedom from.

The Summer I Turned P**n Free is a confidential 6-week virtual support group for men ready to pursue healing, accountability, and lasting freedom from po*******hy in a safe and supportive community.

Through honest conversation, practical tools, biblical truth, and encouragement from other men walking a similar road, participants will begin addressing the deeper struggles that often keep people stuck and fighting alone.

No matter how long the struggle has been there, freedom and healing are possible.

Men ages 18+

There are moments that remind us why this ministry matters far beyond appointments, paperwork, or daily routines.

Recently, we received a handwritten letter from a longtime patient who is walking through an incredibly difficult and uncertain season for her family. In the midst of fear, challenges, and many unknowns, she took the time to write and thank our clinic for the care shown to her family over the past eight years.

What struck me most was this: when life became overwhelming and everything around her felt unstable, one of the places she thought about was this ministry.
It is easy to wonder if the everyday acts of kindness, listening, praying, translating, treating, encouraging, and simply showing up truly make a lasting difference. But often, we do not fully see the impact until someone faces a difficult season and reflects on the people and places that helped carry them through.

This woman's letter is a reminder that whole-person care leaves an imprint far deeper than we may realize. Long after appointments end, people remember how they were treated, how they were loved, and how they encountered the hope of Christ through this ministry.

Even now, in one of the hardest seasons of her life, she is expressing gratitude and asking God for grace and mercy for her family's future.
