A little extra blessing from the golf course!

Thanks to cooler-than-expected weather at our Golf Scramble (and thank you for your prayers), we ended the day with plenty of beverages left over. Instead of letting them go to waste, we were grateful for the opportunity to donate them to No Boundaries International!

Our own Evelyn Brammer, who has been part of the MOJ family for a year, also gives her time volunteering with this ministry. In fact, her very first day at MOJ was the Golf Scramble last year. We’re so thankful for Evelyn and the many ways she chooses to serve our community.

MOJ has been blessed by the generosity of so many over the years, and it’s a joy when we get the opportunity to pass that blessing along.

🤫 SECRET #7:

You probably know someone we’ve helped... you just don’t know it.

Every day, people walk through the doors of Ministries of Jesus carrying stories you may never hear and needs you may never see.

And that’s okay.

At MOJ, protecting the privacy and dignity of those we serve matters deeply to us. While we LOVE sharing stories of hope and healing when (and only when) permission is given, so much of the impact happening here happens quietly.

It may be your neighbor. A coworker. Someone sitting beside you at church. A parent at your child’s school.

You may never know their story, but you can help make sure they know where to turn when they need hope.

Help us let the secret out by sharing Ministries of Jesus so more people know compassionate, whole-person care is here when they need it. 💙

Calling all dietitians!

Ministries of Jesus is looking for volunteer dietitians who are ready to use their skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

At MOJ, we believe in caring for the whole person, and nutrition can play an important role in helping our patients take practical steps toward better health. By volunteering your time and expertise, you can provide education, encouragement, and support to neighbors who may not otherwise have access to these resources.

⛳️ Tomorrow is the big day!

As we prepare for our 10th Annual Ministries of Jesus Benefit Golf Scramble, we would be grateful for your prayers.

Pray for beautiful weather, safe travel, our golfers and volunteers, and every detail that goes into making this event possible. Most importantly, pray that tomorrow would be about more than a day on the golf course. Pray that God would use it to further the mission of MOJ and bring hope and healing to even more people in our community.

We are so thankful for everyone who has prayed, given, sponsored, volunteered, and helped us prepare for this day.

Did you know dental assisting programs can cost students thousands of dollars, often $5,000 or more?

Through RISE: A Bilingual Dental Assistant Program (a ministry of Thought Ministries of Jesus) participants receive approximately 200 hours of hands-on training at no tuition cost, gaining valuable skills and real-world experience that can help open the door to a career in dentistry.

📍 WHERE IN OKLAHOMA SCOTTY? Capitol Hill Edition!

Last Friday, Scotty hit the streets of OKC’s Capitol Hill District with one of our faithful MOJ volunteers, Fatima Rangel!
Together, they visited local businesses, made new connections, and shared resources to help more people in the community learn about the services available through Ministries of Jesus.
Having Fatima along made the morning even more special. Because she lives in the area, she brought a familiar face and valuable connection to the community we hope to serve.
Another great morning of taking MOJ beyond our walls and into the community!

Grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to walk through it alone.

GriefShare is a 13-week support group created for anyone grieving the loss of someone close. Led by people who understand the challenges of grief, this group offers a safe place to find comfort, encouragement, and hope alongside others who are walking a similar road.

Mondays beginning August 10 (TONIGHT)
6:30 PM
MOJ Conference Room

You don’t have to start at the beginning. Newcomers are welcome to join at any time during the 13-week group.

Please note: GriefShare will not meet Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
