Native Explorers Sparking Minds Of Native Students And Training The Next Generation Of Native Doctors and Scientists.

NE provides Native mentors, internships, summer programs, networking, scholarships and an opportunity to experience science to support academic achievement. Mentors include Dr. Kent Smith (Comanche/Chickasaw), Jeff Hargrave (Muscogee Creek/Choctaw), Shannon L. Nagel (Comanche/Kiowa/the Mandan and Hidatsa Tribes of North Dakota), medical/graduate students and faculty. Summer programs include expedi

tions to remote areas specifically selected for their concentration of ancient fossils giving participants an opportunity to experience science outside the classroom. We also incorporate tradition ways and culture in our programs.
