This year, MCFOK joined educators and state leaders to honor 2026 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Kasey Bennett of Durant Public Schools.

Did you know? More than 3,000 Oklahoma educators have received training through Payne
Education Center, thanks in part to more than $1.7 million in scholarships from the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma.

For more than 30 years, Payne Education Center has helped teachers build the skills and confidence to better support struggling readers.

That training is making a difference in classrooms across the state and helping more students become confident readers.

“He is getting his childhood back.”

For children with selective mutism, speaking in certain situations can feel overwhelming, even with people they love. The Mighty Mouth Intensive Program helps children build confidence and find their voices through supportive activities and hundreds of opportunities to practice speaking in a safe, encouraging environment.

For one 9-year-old boy, the impact was incredible. After participating in the program, his family shared this emotional update:

“I don’t know what y’all did yesterday, but today for the first time in his 9 years he talked to his great grandparents!! They had a fear they would die before speaking to him. He also spoke to my stepdad, whom he hasn’t spoken to in 4 years. I just can’t believe it! He is like a different kid. It’s like something just clicked for him.”

The progress continued when he started school. His family shared that he talked to teachers, new classmates, his coach and other adults, celebrating how much more comfortable he had become communicating with others.

“Thank you, guys, so much for everything you have done to help him! I am forever grateful. He is getting his childhood back!”

Children’s Health Foundation is proud to support Sooner SUCCESS and the Mighty Mouth Intensive Program, funded by a grant from the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma. Thanks to this generous support, children with selective mutism can access specialized programming that helps them find their voices, build meaningful connections and experience the joys of childhood with greater confidence.

Did you know? Oklahoma 4-H Innovators reached more than 20,000 youth across the state in 2025, up from 2,859 in 2022.

That growth is helping more young Oklahomans build STEM skills, gain confidence and step into leadership roles in their own communities.

Through more than $1 million in support since 2020, the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma is helping open doors for Oklahoma 4-H youth to learn, lead and innovate.

Did you know? Hearts for Hearing's Mobile Care Clinic is bringing life-changing hearing care directly to communities across Oklahoma.

Through its partnership with the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, Hearts for Hearing is helping remove barriers to care for children and adults with hearing loss.

Since launching in January 2025, the Mobile Care Clinic has traveled across the state, bringing pediatric and adult hearing services closer to home and reaching communities that might otherwise go
without.
