On Wednesday, July 29, a ribbon-cutting and Masonic Cornerstone Ceremony was held at Wings A Special Needs Community to celebrate the opening of the first Residential Home on the New Wings Community Campus.

The Residential Home, proudly funded by the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, was designed to promote independence while providing a supportive environment, and is dedicated to fulfilling Wings' mission of enhancing the lives of adults with developmental disabilities through social, vocational, and residential programs.

The impact of a partnership is even more meaningful when you can see it in action.

Last week, our Board of Directors had the opportunity to step inside the Hearts for Hearing mobile clinic, a project we're proud to have helped bring to communities across Oklahoma. Seeing the clinic firsthand and watching it prepare to serve families across the state was a powerful reminder that philanthropy is about more than funding. It's about expanding access to care where it's needed the most.

We're grateful to the Hearts for Hearing team for bringing the mobile clinic to us and for the incredible work they do every day to help Oklahomans hear, connect, and thrive.

Many people don't realize just how much good the Oklahoma Masonic Charity Foundation does across our state.

In 2026 alone, the Foundation awarded nearly $3.8 million in grants to Oklahoma charities and community programs. These funds support organizations that help children, veterans, seniors, families, schools, and individuals with special needs.

Some of the organizations receiving support include:

• Hearts for Hearing
• Wings Special Needs Community
• Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
• Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma
• Dale K. Graham Veterans Foundation
• Science Museum Oklahoma
• Oklahoma School for the Deaf
• Junior Achievement of Oklahoma
• Autism Foundation of Oklahoma
• Sunbeam Family Services
• YMCA Military Welcome Center
• And many more deserving Oklahoma charities.

The Foundation also provides scholarships, vision screening programs for schoolchildren, support for local community projects, and assistance for Oklahoma Masons and their families in times of need.

Freemasonry is often known for its traditions and symbols, but its greatest work is found in serving others. The Oklahoma Masonic Charity Foundation continues to make a real difference in communities across our state every day.
