The Development Impact Review Committee got its first look at a proposed reorganization of all City of Edmond, Government development review and building inspection functions into a unified Development Services Department.

The Development Impact Review Committee will meet at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 7 in the City Hall Main Street Conference Room B, 22 E. Main St.

The agenda includes several discussion and update items, as well as presentations on Unified Development Code processes, a proposed City of Edmond Development Services Department, and the Community Wildlife Protection Plan.

The City of Edmond currently pays more than $1 million annually just for the option to buy extra water from the City of Oklahoma City at a much-higher rate.

Building out Edmond's water infrastructure to make full use of our own reservoir at Arcadia Lake is critical for economic independence, rate stability, and water quality for future generations as our community continues to grow.
