Amazing.

I’m taking a photo from one of the positions of Sgt John Basilone which resulted in his Medal of Honor. My friend (center) is at the location of the barbed wire line. In his official MOH statement, Basilone said the wire was 33 ft to his front. This is the real position and not the “tourist” one near Bloody Ridge. I took this in 2023. Unfortunately the area has now been cleared for farming and the positions, including the barbed wire, are destroyed. It took me 5 years of solid research to lock them down.
