❤️ Meet Prince ❤️ 1 year
Prince will be turning 1 year old in just a few days, and he is truly a special boy.
Life sometimes brings unexpected challenges. Prince's family welcomed him from a breeder after the heartbreaking loss of their beloved German Shepherd, hoping he would help bring joy back into their home. Sadly, serious family health issues have led them to make the difficult decision to find Prince a new forever family.
At 80 pounds, Prince is a big, lovable sweetheart. He is friendly, affectionate, and wonderful with people. He arrived as a trained puppy and still remembers much of his early training. He walks nicely on a leash, though he can occasionally become distracted by interesting sights and smells. With consistency and continued guidance, he is at the perfect age to keep learning and growing into an incredible companion.
After spending several months without regular interaction with other dogs, Prince has recently shown us that he is ready to play, run, and enjoy life again. He responds well to corrections from both large and small dogs and is not a dog that seeks to dominate or bully others. We believe he would thrive in a home with another dog—ideally a confident, well-mannered female who can help show him the ropes—or as a cherished only dog who receives plenty of love and attention.
Prince is looking for an active family that will include him in their adventures and help him explore the world. He has so much love to give and is eager to be part of a family once again.
