Ahhh! 🌻 The first sunflower is blooming at our micro flower farm on Amboy Avenue at the old Stewart's lot.
It may look effortless now, but getting to this moment has taken plenty of hard work: preparing the beds, planting, mulching, fertilizing, weeding (then more weeding!), replanting, and even hand-watering when needed.
Seeing these first blooms makes every step worth it. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings! Our vision continues to include beautification of our neighborhood 💚
