Yvette first became part of our founder’s life as his middle school principal, and she has remained a source of love, guidance, and support ever since. Today, she serves as TAFYS’s Advisor to the President, but her impact goes far beyond a title.

She is a beautiful example of relational permanency. The power of having someone who stays, believes in you, and continues to show up.

🎉 Julio's wish has been granted! 🎧💙

Julio is heading into 11th grade this fall, and thanks to a generous grantor, he received the Apple AirPods he wanted!

Music helps him stay motivated during workouts and manage everyday stress, but until now, he'd never had a pair of headphones of his own. Earlier this summer, he spent days helping his mom move without hesitation, always willing to lend a hand.

When he opened his wish, he was all smiles... and bundled up in his TAFYS blanket because he said he was freezing! 😂💙 We love those little moments that make these wish photos even more memorable.

We hope these AirPods remind Julio that people are cheering him on every step of the way.

After being laid off, Ashley has been working hard to support her two children while searching for new employment and growing her handmade bath and body business Ashley's Royal Bathhouse . This iPad will help her design products, connect with customers, manage her business, and support her children’s schoolwork.

Big news! 🎉

We're proud to share that our founder Leroy was featured in the Administration for Children and Families - ACF National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) – Key Lessons Learned video.

The video brings together youth with lived experience, child welfare leaders, and national experts to discuss how data, and more importantly, youth voices, can help improve housing, education, employment, and lifelong success for young people transitioning from foster care.

This reflects something we believe every day: when young people have a seat at the table, everyone benefits.
