The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce was proud to join the Edinburg EDC, Edinburg Mayor Ochoa and City Council members, community leaders, and the Cavender family in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Cavender’s newest location in Edinburg.

For generations, Cavender’s has been a trusted name in western wear, boots, work apparel, hats, and accessories. Their investment in our community strengthens Edinburg’s retail landscape, creates opportunities, and provides another great shopping destination for residents and visitors alike.

The SB250 Ride from Edinburg to San Antonio officially began today! 🚴‍♂️

This incredible event has brought together 118 registered riders representing 38 cities across 3 states, all united for one amazing cause. The ride is also creating a positive economic impact for Edinburg, generating more than 40 hotel room nights and welcoming visitors to our community.

Over the next two days, riders will cover 250 miles — 140 miles today and 110 miles on Saturday.

We are proud to have Edinburg Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ronnie Larralde and Edinburg EDC Executive Director Raudel Garza participating in this inspiring journey.

Together, the riders are working toward a goal of raising $100,000 for Suzannah Smiles and families impacted by Spina Bifida through the work of Spina Bifida Texas.

Wishing all participants a safe and successful ride as they make a difference one mile at a time! ❤️
