Palm Awards

A new season of the Palm Awards begins!

We were excited to welcome our participating theatre directors to the McAllen Performing Arts Center for our season kickoff and introduction gathering. These incredible educators are the heart of the Palm Awards and the reason thousands of young artists across the Rio Grande Valley continue to have opportunities to learn, perform, and dream bigger.

We can’t wait to see what our schools bring to the stage this year.

Directors, make sure your school is registered for the new Palm Awards season!

What an incredible night celebrating Hispanic arts and a true full-circle moment at the residence of the Colombian Ambassador in Washington, D.C.

Two-time Palm Awards winner and 2023 NHFA Artist in Residence Diego Andrés Rodriguez was honored alongside James Olivas and Kate del Castillo with NHFA’s Horizon Award.

The Palm Awards is proud and thankful for our partnership with NHFA and for the national platform they continue to provide our Palm Awards students and artists.

Diego is just the first. There is so much more to come.

Arts for All is about opening doors for every student to discover the creativity, confidence and possibilities that come through the arts.

Together, we can help inspire the next generation through creativity, education and access to the arts.

Your contribution will sponsor a complimentary ticket for a student to attend a performance in this season’s Broadway series, giving them a VIP experience and an opportunity to discover the magic of live theatre.

If you would like to donate and support the Arts for All initiative, please message us to learn how you can help.
