Hi. I heard my opponent’s campaign putting out the message that the RGV is underfunded because our state representatives aren’t doing a good job for us in Austin. That he’s young and will work hard to change all that.
The real reason why the RGV has been underfunded is because the state is controlled by the Republican Party. We in the RGV have never elected a Republican to the State House of Representatives.
My opponent’s values are not aligned with the majority of the people in the RGV. He’s a self-avowed socialist. His values will not align well with the legislature either. Therefore, he will be an ineffective representative for our area in Austin.
My values as a middle-of-the-road, common-sense Republican are values that will work for our area as well as in Austin.
I will be able to fight hard for issues of affordability, like getting property taxes reduced and getting our car and home insurance costs reduced. Anything that puts more money in your pockets.
I’m for security by strongly supporting our law enforcement. My opponent, Julio, is on record speaking out against law enforcement, and that’s not good for our security.
I’m a strong believer in term limits, and I will step down in eight years if term limits aren’t passed while I’m in office.
I will fight for great infrastructure, like roads, water, and better drainage.
I’m humbly asking for your vote so that, with my values, experience, and being a common-sense Republican, I can work with other representatives in the legislature to get more funding and get more done for our area.
God Bless.
