HON (Eta Omicron Nu)

HON (Eta Omicron Nu) HON (Eta Omicron Nu) is a student organization offshoot of the Guerra Honors Program at UTPA! If you are a member of GHP then you are a member of HON.

HON is a student organization offshoot of the Guerra Honors Program where honors students are given the opportunity to network with other honors students, participate in community service, engage in school activities, and fundraise. The purpose of the organization shall be to:

A. Adhere to and abide by the Preamble of this Constitution in both spirit and deed;
B. Promote, support, and maintain

the principles of the Honors College;
C. Promote and encourage academic excellence among members and all students;
D. Establish and perform programs and projects that are beneficial to Honors students;
E. Acknowledge and represent the diverse sentiments and interests of all members of this organization regardless of gender, religion, national origin or ethnicity, sexual orientation, race, creed, disability, or veteran's status;
F. Promote the educational relationship and cooperation of students and faculty; and
G. Strive towards helping the local community through service and planning. Please "like" and invite friends :)
