Tomorrow is Chicken Run 2026!

We’re getting everything ready for a great day, and we’ll be sharing some of the amazing raffle prizes you can check out tomorrow.

SPECIAL RAFFLE — 12 Mile Charter

Thanks to the incredible generosity of 12 Mile Charter, we’re giving you a chance to win a 4-person, 4-hour fishing charter!

We’ll have this raffle available at the Chicken Run tomorrow, along with our basket raffles.

Looking for something to do this Saturday?

Join us for the Chicken Run!

There’s a 5K and a 1-Mile Walk, but this event is about much more than the race.

Enjoy coffee from Bean & Bear Cafe, cool off with Kona Ice or Smiley’s Ice Cream, browse our basket raffles, and let the kids take part in fun activities. Most importantly, spend time with friends, neighbors, and our community.

The Chicken Run was created to honor the life and legacy of Breanna Lynn Elder. Through the Bre Humble and Kind Foundation, we support local student scholarships, classroom supply grants for teachers, and other community programs that carry on Bre’s spirit of kindness.

Because of your support, we've been able to award scholarships to local students, provide classroom supply grants for teachers, and invest in programs that make a difference throughout our community.

💛 Today is Bre's half birthday. 💛

Today is a special day for our foundation and for everyone who has been part of this journey with us.

The Bre Humble and Kind Foundation was created to carry forward the kindness, compassion, and joy that Bre shared with so many people. Because of this incredible community, her legacy continues to grow each year through scholarships, classroom grants, and opportunities to make a difference for others.

In just a couple of weeks, we'll gather again for the Chicken Run. Our favorite day of the year. It's more than a fundraiser; it's a chance for our community to come together, reconnect with friends, support a great cause, and celebrate the impact we can make together.

Whether you're running the 5K, walking the course, bringing the kids, or simply stopping by to enjoy the day, we'd love to see you there. We'll have great food from Bean & Bear Café, Kona Ice, and Smiley's Ice Cream, along with family activities and plenty of smiles.

The Chicken Run is the Bre Humble and Kind Foundation’s annual 5K, 1-Mile Walk, Kids Fun Run, and family fun day held at General McLane High School in Edinboro, PA. Each year, we come together to honor the life and legacy of Breanna Lynn Elder while raising funds for local scholarships, classroom grants for teachers, and community initiatives.

Whether you run, walk, cheer on participants, or simply stop by to enjoy the day, everyone is welcome!

The Bre Humble and Kind Foundation's Annual Chicken Run is coming and we need YOU on the starting line!

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a great reason to lace up your sneakers this is the event for you. Every step you take supports students with special needs, educators, the elderly, and families in need right here in the Edinboro community.
