A shout out to our own Alisa Lamont, Feds Member and Philanthropy Chair! She recently earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Learning from the University of St. Thomas in May.

Her researched focused on young alumni perceptions of philanthropy at four Catholic universities across the United States. She celebrated the occasion by graduating alongside her daughter, Siri, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Anna and Jessica were recently honored with the Distinguished Service Award for their leadership, community engagement and efforts to build trust and connection through the Edina Police & Fire Departments.

We’re thrilled to have these inspiring women as new club members and loved celebrating with them at their first Edina Feds Spring Fling event.

Four members of the Edina Police Department were recognized with the Distinguished Service Award from the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association at its Executive Training Institute last Wednesday! Congrats to Sgt. Anna Eckstein, Community Engagement Officer Nick Donahue, Training Officer Jaren Zech and Hennepin County Joint Community Policing Liaison Jessica Connors. From programs like “Cops on the Court” to expanded training and outreach, this team is helping build trust, and strengthen connections throughout the community - Amazing work! 👏
