What a fantastic weekend at the Twin Cities Pride Festival! We were proud to celebrate with such a welcoming, supportive community while having meaningful conversations about end-of-life care, personal choice, and the importance of making your voice heard.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and shared your stories, and a huge shoutout to our incredible volunteers for making our Pride presence such a success! Your time and dedication helped spark conversations that matter.

We want to thank Rev. Ed Holland and his work to champion end-of-life care options for Minnesotans. Rev. Holland served as the coordinator of spiritual care & grief support with Park Nicollet Methodist Hospice in Minneapolis, a program he helped create in 1979. He is a United Methodist minister, a retired board-certified chaplain and a retired marriage and family therapist. You may have seen his name on a recent op-ed in the Minnesota Reformer about medical aid in dying in Minnesota.

This past Sunday, Rev. Holland presented about medical aid in dying and voluntary stopping of eating and drinking as part of Faith United Methodist Church's Faith Forum, just one of many presentations he has given on end-of-life care issues and advance care planning.

Thank you, Rev. Holland, for the work you do to ensure that every Minnesotan has an end-of-life experience that aligns with their values, priorities, and beliefs!

Please visit our booth at the Centennial Area Chamber's Aging Well Senior Expo on May 14th from 9 AM - Noon. The expo is in the beautiful St. Genevieve's Parish Community Center in Centerville. It is FREE to attend! There will be a variety of vendors, resources, sharps/prescription/eye-glass drop-off, door prizes, health checks, and more.

Take a look at our amazing advocates in action! On April 23rd, C&C volunteers Barbara, Karen and Becky tabled at the Elder Resource Association's expo in Burnsville, sharing resources to help our community plan for end-of-life care that matches their values and priorities. On April 16th, Barbara and Eric joined the St. Peter Annual Senior Expo. And on April 9th, Barbara and Judy were in Arlington for the Sibley County Senior Expo.
