Edina A Better Chance Edina ABC is a non-profit organization providing a quality education to academically talented students of color from families of modest means since 1972.

A Better Chance (ABC) is a national organization dedicated to providing strong educational opportunities to students of color. The ABC goal is to increase the number of well-educated minority students and make it possible for deserving students to reach their full potential. Our Edina ABC chapter has been operating since 1972. In 2005 we reached a milestone and became the first ABC chapter to graduate 100 students.

Exciting News from Edina ABC! We are thrilled to welcome back our amazing scholars for another successful school year! Our program continues to empower young women to give them the resources and support they need to succeed. This year we welcome back one scholar and have sponsored 5 new scholars to join the program! Thanks to donated booster tickets and comped dance tickets, the girls got to attend the homecoming game AND the dance!! Our Edina ABC Community is amazing! We are only short ONE host family for the upcoming year! Please let me know if you have any interest in hosting a scholar every other weekend from Saturday 12pm -Sunday 12pm. I can share details of what it looks like. The new scholars are amazing young women!
