On this date in 2012, our council and 4th Degree Assembly helped celebrate the opening of The Simmons Room at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the place where we now hold our meetings and some events! Some of our KofC family in this photo are no longer with us, including Fr. Joseph Simmons, for whom the room is named. May they rest in peace.

At the shrimp feast this past Saturday, Knights of Columbus Council 6188 Grand Knight John Dittus presented a $10,000 check for the Community Center Building Program at St Stephen Church at the Annual Shrimp and Bull Roast held at St Stephen on April 11, 2026.

We had a great Basketball Free-throw competition today with the 5th-8th graders at St. Stephen School. Thanks to all 8 Knights and one Knight’s daughter who turned out to support the event! Congratulations to all the winners!
