Job Opening: Dyslexia Therapist / Reading Teacher

Location: Edgewood Masonic Lodge – New Mexico Scottish Rite Learning Center

Position open until: 7/22/25

Are you passionate about helping children overcome reading challenges? We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate educator to lead our well-established Dyslexia and Reading Program, now in its 16th year of serving the community.

About the Program: Our program supports children ages 7–12 who struggle with dyslexia or reading difficulties. We are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of young learners through structured, individualized instruction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education (required)
Preferred: Training or certification in the Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia program (Orton-Gillingham based)
Background check (required)
