❤️ We don’t ask often… but right now, we REALLY need help! ❤️

At Be Forever Loved, we work hard to be self-sufficient, repurpose what we can, and do most of the work ourselves. But donations have dropped dramatically, and sustaining the sanctuary has become VERY difficult.

🚜 Our biggest problem right now? OUR TRACTOR!

It’s been out of commission for nearly SIX MONTHS. We use it daily to move heavy loads, including 1,000-pound hay bales. Without it, we’ve been moving hay BY HAND! 😳 It’s exhausting and incredibly time-consuming.

The repair shop quoted us $7,500 for a transmission replacement—or $43,000+ for a new tractor! 😳 Since we’re making the final payment on this tractor in November, another tractor payment is the LAST thing we want.

Because the estimate wasn’t itemized, we’ll pay the $600+ diagnostic bill and seek another opinion. We know repairs won’t be cheap, but $7,500 is beyond our reach right now.

From Big Bad Boar named Biggie P to beloved Shar Pei Piggie just named P! It took 1.5 yrs, a LOT of exercise and a good diet BUT he is down over 200 pounds!

🐷 BIGGIE P UPDATE: FROM BIG BAD BOAR TO… LOVED SHAR-PEI PIGGIE?! 🤣🐽

When Biggie P arrived at Be Forever Loved in May 2025, he was pushing a whopping 350–400 pounds! 😳

He was HUGE, intimidating, and pretty much everyone was terrified of the big bad boar!

Fast forward through a LOT of exercise, a healthy diet, and some serious lifestyle changes… and we now have what might be the world’s first SHAR-PEI PIGGIE! 🤣🐷

Yep! Biggie P has lost so much weight that he’s now sporting enough loose skin and wrinkles to qualify as an entirely different breed! 😂

But wait… there’s MORE!

Our formerly oversized, intimidating bachelor has now had:

✂️ His hooves trimmed!

🦷 His tusk trimmed!

🥜 And… well… let’s just say his days of fathering little Biggies are officially OVER! 🤣

Biggie P is still working on his social skills. Apparently, nobody told him that just because you look less intimidating doesn’t mean you automatically become Mr. Popularity! 😂

The funny thing is, when he first arrived, everyone was terrified of HIM. Now? Let’s just say the other animals aren’t nearly as impressed with his tough-guy act! And Bindi, the pup that identifies as a piggie herself, does NOT allow any fighting among her family! (The humans aren’t even allowed to argue with each other!)🤣

And one final change for Biggie P - a NAME CHANGE!

BIGGIE P is no longer a BIGGIE! 😂

He’s officially downsized from BIGGIE P to just P! 🐷

Because underneath all those wrinkles, that tough-guy attitude, and his questionable social skills… he’s really just one very WELL-LOVED PIGGIE! ❤️🐽

He’s gone from BIG BAD BOAR to WRINKLY RETIRED BACHELOR… and we’re loving every roll, wrinkle, and ounce of progress!

Now, P… if we can just get that personality to shrink a little too, you might actually make some friends! 🤣❤️

💔 MiLB — Mi Little Buddy 💔
Some animals come into our lives and are here for years. Others are here for only a moment...And somehow, those moments leave a hole so enormous you wonder how your heart will ever fill it again.

MiLB was only ours for a short time. But man... was that little guy loved!

He was found in the middle of a road near Canton during last year's freeze—discarded like trash by some deplorable human who left him there to suffer alone.

Cars were speeding past him—and over him. He was curled up in the road, cold, terrified and broken. His little body was riddled with deformities and medical problems. His hair was horribly matted. He had no teeth. He was in pain. He was an absolute mess!

That first night, we truly did not believe he would survive until morning............ But he did...... And from that moment forward, we made sure MiLB learned that his life mattered.

He learned what warmth felt like, what a soft, fuzzy blanket felt like beneath his tired little body, what warm meals tasted like—and that there would always be as much food as his little belly wanted. Most importantly, he learned what it felt like to be loved.

MiLB came with his own set of boundaries, and we respected every single one of them. He did not want to be picked up. He did not want to be held. He didn’t even want us to cover him with a blanket. So we didn’t.

Love isn’t always about what we want to give. Sometimes love means meeting a broken little soul exactly where he is and saying, “Okay. I will love you from right here.” and boy did I!!!!

He may not have wanted me to hold him, but wherever I went, MiLB went. If I got up, he got up. If I moved to another room, that little body followed me—despite his pain.

And every night, he slept with me, safely tucked near my feet.
He didn’t need to be in my arms to tell me he loved me. I knew...
He chose to stay close. and that was enough.

Last night, MiLB’s tired little body told us it couldn’t do this anymore. His pain became too much. He was miserable. Nothing eased his cries.

As desperately as I wanted more time with him.... as hard as I cried and as much as my heart screamed “not yet”... I made him a promise the day he came to us: Our need to keep you with us, will never be greater than our responsibility to keep you from suffering.

So around 10:30 last night, Mi Little Buddy made his final trip to our veterinarian. The little dog who had once been abandoned in the middle of a freezing road to suffer alone did not leave this world alone! He left surrounded by love.

Although he had spent so much of his life afraid of being held, when it mattered most, MiLB crossed the Rainbow Bridge in loving arms.

I don’t know what happened to him before he came to us. I don’t know how long he suffered or why someone decided his life wasn’t worth protecting. But I know how his story ended - He was warm, safe, his little belly was full, he had a name and a forever home where he was VERY LOVED!

Someone may have thrown MiLB away like trash, but he left this earth as someone’s baby - our baby!

Run free, Mi Little Buddy. 🌈🐾

No more deformities, No more fear. No more pain.

I pray Tunie was waiting for you got to Heaven and showed you all the cool places to hang out up there! I pray you’re running on four perfect little legs and a straight back, eating everything your heart desires, and finally experiencing what it feels like to have a body that doesn’t hurt.... and I pray you knew, before you closed your little eyes, that to us... you were never an unwanted little dog lying in the middle of a road - You were MiLB. You were ours and you mattered!

And for the rest of our lives, you will be remembered with nothing but love. 💔🐾🌈

🙏🔥 PRAYERS FOR MERIDIANs — OUR PASTURES ARE OPEN 🔥🙏

Once again, we are asking everyone to pray for our fellow Texans.

A wildfire continues to rage near Meridian, Texas, where some of our family lives. A mandatory evacuation has been ordered for Meridian, and reports indicate the fire has already consumed 600+ acres and has jumped containment measures.

When something like this happens, people have very little time to figure out where to go—and for families with pets and livestock, that also means figuring out where their animals can go.

Be Forever Loved wants to help.

🐴🐮🐷🐐🐑 We are opening some of our pastures to anyone affected by the fire who needs temporary shelter for their livestock.

If you—or someone you know—needs a safe place to bring animals while evacuating, please reach out to us. We will help however we can and accommodate as much as our property safely allows.

And even if you aren’t in the path of this fire, you can still help.

Please SHARE this post. Someone scrambling to evacuate may desperately need a place for their animals and may not know where to turn.

Tonight, we ask for prayers for Meridian, the surrounding communities, the families being forced from their homes, their animals, and especially the firefighters and first responders working tirelessly to protect them. 🙏

I think we have created a monster!
Now that Polly is feeling better, we can’t keep her outside! She keeps coming in thru doggie door! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

And she seems to think she is a LOT smaller than she really is! I don’t have the heart to break it to her that ummmm her fluffy butt doesn’t fit!!!

💙 Meet Phrankie & Phreddie! 💙

Rescued from Animal Control with Mom and Dad, these little guys officially lost a couple of things today that they WON’T be getting back! ✂️😳

Phrankie—our gorgeous blue-eyed boy—and Phreddie are sore, pitiful and VERY unimpressed tonight. 💔 Phreddie was also cryptorchid, meaning one of his testicles had not descended, so his surgery was a little more involved.

So tonight it’s pain meds, A/C, soft blankets, snuggles with Mom and plenty of treats to ease their pain.

Rest easy, little guys. ❤️
You lost your 🥜 today… but gained a family who will love you FOREVER! 🐷❤️

💕 POLLY IS FEELING GOOD! 💕

Look who decided she felt good enough to come through the doggie door for a visit today! 🥹❤️

And apparently Polly didn’t just come inside to say hello… she came in to give HOT PANTS to us!🔥😂 and even tried to climb up on the couch with me!

That little bit of sass, determination and mischief is exactly what we’ve been hoping to see. ❤️

Keep it up, sweet girl.
