Congratulations to Victoria, Troop 2018’s NEWEST Second Class Scout! Victoria wrapped up the last of her requirements while backpacking on the Appalachian Trail this weekend. Well done, Scout!

Several members of Troop 2018 attended the Volunteer Training Summit at Baltimore Area Council Boy Scouts of America today! Our flat Scouts felt especially at home at the opening ceremonies and we all enjoyed the Female Backpacking class to help us get ready for next weekend’s backpacking trip.

HISTORY MADE IN ST. LOUIS ✨

Meet Cedar, Macy, and Maya Fitzpatrick — three incredible sisters who just redefined what an Eagle Scout looks like. 🦅

In 2017, when the Boy Scouts of America opened its doors to girls, the Fitzpatrick sisters walked right through and made history.

Now, these three St. Louis trailblazers are believed to be the first Black sisters (including twins) to achieve Eagle Scout rank at the same time.

Their service projects:

🌟 Cedar built custom equipment carts for veterans in rehab programs.
🌟 Macy built nesting boxes for endangered American kestrels.
🌟 Maya designed feeding boxes for the Endangered Wolf Center.

All while maintaining perfect GPAs, giving back to their community, and proving that dedication, leadership, and sisterhood can climb any mountain.
