Thank you so much to everyone, both inside and outside of our community, who have come together to support the Power Hawks! Because of your generosity, we were able to pay our registration fees on time and are officially registered for the 2026 FIRST Chesapeake District Championships!

You have made it possible for a group of 40 dedicated, diverse students to continue competing this season. We CANNOT thank you enough!

But our journey isn’t over yet.

As we shared in our original post, many of our students come from underserved communities. They are unable to fully cover the costs of traveling out of state for this competition. We are committed to making sure every student who earned this opportunity can attend—regardless of financial circumstances.

Here’s how the costs break down:
$3,000 – Event Registration ✅ GOAL MET!
$700 – Travel (gas for 8 vehicles) ✅ GOAL MET!
$3,900 – Student lodging
$4,650 – Chaperone lodging

Thanks to your support, we’ve already reached our travel and registration goals and are ready to start helping students subsidize their costs. This is an incredible milestone! Every additional donation now goes directly to reducing the financial burden on our students and their families.

If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing our fundraiser. Every contribution—no matter the size—brings us closer to making this opportunity fully accessible for every member of our team.
We truly cannot do this without you. Thank you for believing in our students, our mission, and the future they’re building.
