In lieu of our Annual Shoot a Thon fundraiser, SRYA Basketball is going to shift our fundraising efforts this year towards helping an organization who has supported one of our own athletes: Katie Stevens.

Caps for Katie is an organization hoping to bring Awareness of Alopecia throughout the community and to help those searching for acceptance. There are several ways that we can help Caps for Katie…

Attend the Cut a Thon: On Sunday, February 7th, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm, Hosted By Robert Andrew Salon & Spa located at The Village at Waugh Chapel 1328 Main Chapel Way, Gambrills, MD 21054. First Come, First Served!!
During the Cut-A-Thon, Robert Andrew Salon & Spa will be offering haircuts to anyone who comes in to support the cause for a donation of $15.00. For those supporters who wish to donate a 12" pony tail, please remember your hair donation must be chemical free. It takes 20-30 ponytails and $1800.00 to make one hair piece for a child. This is why Robert Andrew Salon & Spa will donate 100% of all monies collected from the Cut-A-Thon to Wigs for Kids who provides Hair Replacement Systems and support for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at no cost to children or their families.

2. Collect New baseball hats, stocking caps, cowboy hats…any NEW HAT!

3. Collect any monetary donation for Wigs for Kids.
