"I would never have thought that it is possible to feel completely safe and held in a group of strangers... but that is exactly what an Integer circle is like!"

In times like these, we all need a space where we can honestly share without fear of being judged or rejected. The Integer Community Circles are safe and brave online spaces where strangers deeply connect. No strings attached.

Come join us this month on Tuesday, May 19 or Saturday, May 23 at 8am (EDT); 2pm (SAST); 3pm (EAT).

Honest question for nonprofit leaders: when last did someone ask you how your team is really doing?

Not the programmes. Not the funding. The people.

Integer Network is hosting a free webinar on 28 May for NPO Executive Directors who want a real conversation about team thriving, burnout, succession and what leadership actually has to do with all of it.
It is 60 minutes. It is free. And it will be worth your time.

Burnout rarely announces itself loudly.

It creeps in quietly, disguised as dedication. And in the nonprofit sector, where passion and commitment run deep, it can go unnoticed for a long time before the cracks become impossible to ignore.

Here are 5 signs your team may be burning out, even if no one has said the word yet:

1. People who used to bring energy are going quiet in meetings.
2. Small decisions are taking longer than they should.
3. Sick days are increasing, but no one is talking about it.
4. Your best people are starting to look elsewhere.
5. There is a lot of busyness but not much forward movement.

If two or more of these sound familiar, this is not a performance problem. It is a sustainability problem.

And it is one that the coaching approach is uniquely positioned to help with — not by adding another programme, but by changing the way your team relates to their work, to each other, and to the mission they are carrying.

What is burn-out actually costing the NPO sector?

Nobody gets into nonprofit work for the money.

They get in because they care. Because something called them. Because they looked at the world and decided they couldn't just walk by.

And that same drive.. that deep, beautiful commitment.. is exactly what makes burnout in the NPO sector so dangerous.

When you care about your work the way most nonprofit leaders do, you don't stop when you're tired. You push through. You tell yourself the mission is bigger than how you feel. You come in early, stay late, and carry the weight of your community home with you at night.

Until you can't anymore.

Research tells us that burnout rates among nonprofit workers are significantly higher than in the corporate sector. Turnover is expensive. Leadership gaps cost communities. And behind every statistic is a real person who gave everything they had and ran dry.

This month we're going to talk honestly about what is happening in the NPO sector and what coaching can offer as part of the solution.

Because a thriving sector needs people in it who are thriving too.

A Different Way Forward

Many of us try to change our lives through more effort, more discipline, more willpower.

But lasting change rarely comes from overpowering ourselves.

Real change begins when we learn to work with the subconscious mind rather than against it.

That’s what we’ll explore in the Integer Network webinar, “What Becomes Possible When Pushing No Longer Works? Insights for Women Navigating Midlife Transitions.”

If you’ve been feeling that pushing harder is no longer the answer, this conversation may resonate.
