The 29th Annual Edgewater Music Festival Celebrates Community and Music with $25,000 for Habitat for Humanity
Great local music, generous hearts, and a community that keeps showing up made this summer’s 29th Annual Edgewater Music Festival a success. The Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Foundation will present a $25,000 check to Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver from this year’s event, continuing the festival’s longstanding commitment to supporting affordable housing.
Two stages kept the music flowing all afternoon and into the evening, with local bands alternating performances as music lovers gathered at Citizens Park. Incredible food and artisan vendors rounded out a day filled with dancing, discovery, and connection—all for a great cause.
The festival’s success belongs to the many people who make it possible. Loyal sponsors returned with the generous support they provide year after year. Food and artisan vendors brought flavor and creativity to the park. Local musicians brought their talent and energy to the stages. And music lovers and community supporters came out ready to enjoy the day and make a difference.
Behind the scenes, amazing volunteers worked throughout the day to keep the festival running. The event committee deserves special recognition, most of its members have volunteered with the festival for more than 15 years. Their dedication, experience, and countless hours of work have helped turn an annual event into a beloved community tradition.
Every ticket purchased, sponsorship committed, and volunteer hour contributed helped make this year’s $25,000 donation possible. The result is more than a memorable day of music—it is meaningful support for Habitat for Humanity’s work helping families build strength and stability through affordable homeownership.
“We couldn’t be more excited to contribute $25,000 this year. Habitat for Humanity’s work changes lives and strengthens communities, and we are proud to support it. A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this year’s festival such a success. We had a great time, and we’re already looking forward to next year,” said Ranger Miller, Founder and President of the Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Foundation.
