Cirio Collective. A collective created by Jeffrey And Lia Cirio to explore and develop new choreograp

Cirio Collective's inaugural season was born out of a vision that both Jeffrey and Lia had to bring dancers and other artists together to create and collaborate. They began in the summer of 2015 at Vineyard Arts Project and finished with the premiere of Jeffrey Cirio's "MiniM" at the Cape Dance Festival in Provincetown, MA. Performance Dates:

This July we return to Martha’s Vineyard for Open Ground — a week-long creative residency where our dancers will explore and build new choreography from the ground up at .

OPEN GROUND: A summer residency of creation and conversation

This July 2026, we return to where so much of our work has begun for a weeklong residency .

✨ Continuing work by Jeffrey Cirio ✨ A new creation by Lia Cirio ✨ Valuable studio time for vision and experimentation ✨ An informal showing and discussion for an inside look at how we make the work - location and more info to come!

Open Ground is about process, practice, and possibility, opening the doors and sharing the inner workings of our company as we enter our 12th season. This summer is just the beginning. We’ll continue creating toward a full evening of work in Summer 2027, featuring these new creations alongside an additional new work.

Season 11 wrapped today and we are unbelievably floored by what we were able to create in just a few days. It was amazing to feel the space filled with collaboration, creativity, vulnerability, and just insane dancing. We are so grateful to the dancers, the space, our supporters and everyone that makes it all happen. We can’t wait to see the future of this piece and the future of this Collective!

As we head into our 11th Season today and travel to , we couldn’t forget to feature our Artistic Director, choreographer, and dancer ! Jeff is a principal dancer with Boston Ballet and has also danced for English National Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. This season he will be creating and developing a new piece, that we hope will have a life in our rep very soon! Send him some love and stay tuned to our week ahead!

Another dancer coming back for our 11th Season is our Assistant Artistic Director, choreographer and collaborator . Lia is a currently a Principal dancer and choreographer with Boston Ballet and founding member of the Collective. She has contributed a lot through these many seasons and we are so grateful! Send her some love!

Today, we are excited to reveal our final newest member of the Collective family… .y ! Tyeri is originally from Boston and trained at The Gold School. He got his BFA in Contemporary at Boston Conservatory and then went on to dance with Little House Dance Project, BODYTRAFFIC, and most recently, Jose Limon Dance Company. We are thrilled to have him in the studio this summer and can’t wait to experience his beauty! Send him some love and a warm Collective welcome!

We are so excited to announce a new member of our Collective family for our 11th season… ! Haley Schwan is currently a soloist with Boston Ballet. We can’t wait to have her beauty, energy and incredible movement quality in our studios. Send her some love and the warmest welcome!

It’s amazing to think that in just a month we will be back working in the studios where it all began, . Just a bunch of young dancers, embarking on an ambitious journey, not knowing what the future held… but excited to see! And here we are our 11th season and so grateful to be back in these stunning studios! Thank you to all that made it happen and continue to make it happen!
