Members of the Martha’s Vineyard community gathered before sunrise on Saturday at State Beach to participate in the ninth annual Darkness Into Vineyard Light walk, an event that raises awareness about su***de prevention.

THANK YOU to the incredible community of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and dedicated past and present board members. Thank you to the Town of Edgartown for always supporting the event. Thank you to Edgartown Police and Oak Bluffs Police Departments for helping us on the day of.
Together, we have raised awareness, encouraged open and honest conversations, helped break the stigma surrounding su***de, and, most importantly, reminded so many people one simple message: You matter. You are loved. And you are never alone.🌅💜💛
