We often hear that eating meat is the best source of protein, but what if I told you there are other plant-based options that give you even more protein, vitamins, calcium, and so much more? Look at this broccoli! It’s packed with nutrients and gives you all the good stuff without harming any living being. By choosing plant-based foods like broccoli, lentils, beans, and quinoa, you can nourish your body and still get all the protein you need. There’s no need to kill animals for meat when the earth offers us so many other healthier, cruelty-free choices. So let’s make the change to a more compassionate, sustainable diet and show that we don’t need to eat animals to be strong and healthy. It’s time to let go of the misconception that protein comes only from meat—plants have more to offer than we realize.

Wild fox grapes are a predecessor to Concord grapes, and I'm grateful to Charlie at for foraging this fabulous batch for me for kombucha! There will be plenty, because I'll be picking some over at Jimmy's as well. All my friends who donate yummy produce for booch get free booch or other treats! Concord grape kombucha is soooo gooood. Coming soon...

Any other ideas for grapes aside from jam? Asking for a friend (no really is for a friend, I only make booch)

The new Mercedes-Benz is the first car to offer vegan-certified interior fittings.

The electric Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ Technology is available with an optional “Vegan Package,” which includes vegan seats, steering wheel, door trims, and centre console, all inspected and certified by The Vegan Society. Mercedes-Benz says that the move makes it the first car manufacturer in the world with the Vegan Trademark.

The Vegan Society tested approximately 100 material components from various Mercedes-Benz suppliers as part of its rigorous Vegan Trademark certification standards. While the GLC is currently the only vehicle in the range to offer vegan-certified interiors, Mercedes-Benz has said that it plans to roll the package out across additional models in the future.
