🐾 A BIG THANK YOU TO THE EDGARTOWN YACHT CLUB! 🐾

With the annual Columbus Day Weekend Dog Show happening this Sunday starting at noon, we want to take a moment to thank the Edgartown Yacht Club for hosting this wonderful community event and supporting the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard! ❤️

We are so grateful that a portion of the proceeds from this fun-filled event benefits our shelter and the animals in our care. Support from our island community makes such a difference and helps us continue the work we do for animals in need.

Thank you to the Edgartown Yacht Club, everyone involved in organizing the show, and everyone who comes out to participate and support this event. We truly appreciate you! The event will be held at the Edgartown Tennis Courts.

Wishing everyone a fun weekend full of happy pups, friendly competition, and community spirit! 🐕

10/8/26 UPDATE: ZEUS HAS FOUND A FANTASTIC HOME! We are so happy for him!! 😊

🐾 Meet this handsome Cane Corso puppy! 🖤

This sweet boy is 8 weeks old, up to date on his vaccinations, and looking for a family who is ready to put the time, patience, and training into raising him into a wonderful adult dog.

He is a full-bred Cane Corso and is currently living in a home with another dog. He has been described as friendly, affectionate, shy, and playful. He is partially crate trained, not leash reactive, and has shown no food aggression.

Like any 8-week-old puppy, he is still very much a baby!
He will need continued training, socialization, housebreaking, crate training, leash skills, manners, and all of the other aspects that come along with raising a young puppy. His new family should be prepared for the time and commitment that puppyhood requires.

❤️ A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE BREED

Adult Cane Corsos can grow to well over 100 pounds, depending on gender, genetics, and individual build. His adopter should be prepared for the responsibility of raising a very large, strong adult dog and should be committed to continuing his training throughout his life.

** Please note, Zeus is temporarily able to stay in his home while we advertise him and search for his new owners.
If you think you may be a good fit, please reach out to us to schedule a time to meet him or call for more information.
508-627-8662, thank you.

Breed: Cane Corso
Age: 8 weeks
S*x: Male
Vaccinations: Up to date
Training: Partially crate trained; will need continued puppy training
Personality: Friendly, affectionate, shy & playful

10/1/26 4PM UPDATE: ALL KITTENS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED , thank you everyone ❤️

🐾 KITTENS! Please read all the following information:

The wait is finally over — our remaining kittens are READY FOR ADOPTION! 🐱❤️

We have 7 kittens still looking for their forever homes — 5 boys and 2 girls! We currently have a couple of orange boys available, and the rest are black.

They’re all about 10 weeks old, been microchipped and received their first vaccination. Their second kitten vaccination will be due with your veterinarian in about 2 weeks. Please have a veterinarian ready before showing interest.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a kitten to your family, now is the time to come meet them! Stop by the shelter during our visiting hours or give us a call if you have any questions.

These kittens will not be here long, so come meet them before they’re all spoken for! 🥰🐾

Ps. Click on their photos for their names

We are open from Tuesday through Saturday and our phone number is 508-627-8662. Thank you!

Meet Toosie! He is a four-year old tuxedo cat with big green eyes. Toosie is indoor/outdoor, friendly, playful and affectionate. Since he can get over stimulated, we feel he would do best in a home without small children. And he also has a lovely purr.

Toosie has been diagnosed with diabetes and will need an owner comfortable with giving his daily injections and managing his special diet. He is also a food lover and will steal some whenever he can. Come meet Toosie to experience how much fun he is and see if he could be the perfect cat for you.
