Day 2 was ALL about celebrating the people powering change across Texas. ⭐💚⁠

During today’s Affiliate Showcase & Recognition Session, we recognized the communities, leaders, and local programs driving real change across Texas every single day.⁠
⁠
Because when it comes down to it, our affiliates are the ones on the ground doing the hard work — solving problems, organizing volunteers, building partnerships, launching new ideas, troubleshooting challenges, and showing up for their communities again and again. 🌎♻️⁠

We were especially proud to honor our Silver Star ⭐ and Gold Star ⭐⭐⭐ affiliates for their outstanding dedication and impact.⁠

The passion, creativity, and commitment in this network is truly inspiring, and Texas is more beautiful because of it. 🤠✨⁠

A BIG Thank you to everyone that supported our efforts this last year. We went from a Provisional Affiliate to Silver Star Affiliate in the last year!! This designation will help us with resources, grants, and support to make Eden an even better place to live.

Great American Cleanup
Wow ! We may have had a small gathering but boy are we mighty !
Most spirit went to our Concho County 4-H .
Most trash pickup up was our Mayor Renae Rodgers
Most unique item found was the City Office / EEDC
Thanks to everyone that came out and participated.

Thank you to LoBoz for barbecuing the lunch ! Best Pull pork sandwiches ever!
We had six groups and they picked up 42 sacks of trash . Overall everyone was in agreement that our town is pretty clean of litter. Most of this trash was picked up along the 87& 83 corridor.
Thanks to the City personnel for all you do for town .
And Thank you Eden Residents for keeping your properties clean and free of litter !

On March 31, Keep Texas Beautiful and the West Central Texas Council of Governments brought West Texas communities together in Abilene for a Regional Training rooted in something simple, but powerful: connection.⁠
⁠
Leaders from across the region shared ideas, swapped stories, and explored tools like litter data, recycling, and outreach — but one message stood out:⁠

💬 “We are all facing similar challenges regardless of size.”⁠
⁠
Participants left ready to take action — using litter data more effectively, strengthening volunteer engagement, leveling up outreach, and turning cleanups into moments of connection.⁠
