Updated listing of events before we wind down for the summer: due to conflicts, we’ve added a 2nd weekend option for fishing Clear Lake. We hope all of the scouts and families can make our last events of the scouting year!

UPDATE! Due to the weather forecast this week, we are pushing back fishing to 5/20 and moving up the rocket build inside...

UPDATE! Due to the weather forecast this week, we are pushing back fishing to 5/20 and moving up the rocket build inside at the Church to this Wed. 5/6. See last year’s rocket for inspiration - each scout will need to bring 2 empty 2-liter bottles and colored duct tape. We will launch our rockets after our service project next month.

Our Lions, Tigers, Wolves, and Bears worked towards their “Champions for Nature” conservation adventure by building birdhouses, and our Webelos put the finishing touches on their wooden step stools - great work Scouts!

Thank you so much to the Eden Emergency & Rescue Squad for teaching our cub scouts about first aid and letting us explore the ambulances. These men and women do so much for our community, and we are very grateful!

Reminder for this week's events:

Wed. 2/25 6pm: Pack Meeting at Eden Emergency Squad (2791 1/2 E. Church St., Eden - parking behind Eden Town Hall). Scouts and families are invited to learn about first aid and how the Emergency Squad serves our community.

Fri. 2/27 6pm-7pm: Pinewood Derby Weigh-in at Eden United Methodist Church. Stop by to drop off your scout's pinewood derby car. If a car weighs more than 5.0 oz, you can take it home and make adjustments before the race the following morning.

Sat. 2/28 11am: Pinewood Derby! Scouts and families welcome to Eden United Methodist Church for the annual pinewood derby race! Trophies for winners and most creative design - photo opportunities and ribbons for all scouts. Please bring a snack or dessert to pass!
