With over a decade of experience counseling families with ADHD, Cindy will share her most powerful tips and a few new things she has learned. Come and discover some of the most effective tips and strategies for managing ADHD so that is doesn't cause so much chaos for you or your family. Additionally she will share secrets of motivating yourself even when you don't feel like doing a task. Topic: “The Power of Gratitude: Strategies from Positive Psychology for Managing ADHD and Anxiety,” presented by Rick Herder, PhD, associate professor of Communication Studies at Southwest Minnesota State University. Rick and his family live with ADHD and have learned ways of thriving and finding joy. Rick will lead an interactive class on learning to harness the power of gratitude to manage anxiety that is often part of the daily experience of living with ADHD. Participants will learn about recent developments in positive psychology along with practical techniques for managing anxiety and enhancing relationships such as gratitude
meditation and gratitude letters.

What is it that keeps our kids stuck and procrastinating? In this workshop we build awareness around how ADHD and executive function deficits make it hard to get started.
