Thursday STC volunteers Evan Lewis and Terry Wheeler did trail work and spread 35 more tons of rock this time on the River-to-River trail West of High K**b Campground. There are some problematic muddy spots there that need yearly maintenance.

A huge thank you to all who donated, helped and supported the fundraising efforts at Double M Campground for the Shawnee Trail Conservancy. This was a fun and successful event that raised $4,025.00. Campers at Double M Campground pulled together and worked very hard to put on this event and STC is grateful to all.

Not only was the Pounds Hollow dam mowed by STC but in a joint venture with the US Forest Service and STC, the trees growing on the back of the dam of Pounds Hollow Lake were removed. This was crucial as this was jeopardizing this beautiful lake. More work is planned by STC volunteers to further improve conditions so that the dam can be mowed on a regular basis in the future.

STC bought and spread C-6 rock and put it on top of the existing larger rock at the Cedar Bluff parking lot located on Burden Falls Road. Mowing was done around the parking lot and entrance. The trail north of the parking lot was also cleared and mowed to Cedar Bluff.
