We are beyond grateful that MFA chose us to recieve this grant. These funds will go torwards buying a new air gas monitor.

- Columbia, Missouri (03/02/2026) - The MFA Oil Foundation has awarded a grant to the Eddyville Volunteer Fire to assist with purchasing an air gas monitor. The MFA Oil Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations that are working to improve communities where MFA Oil has a significant concentration of members and employees. Since it was established in 1998, the MFA Oil Foundation has awarded more than four million dollars in grants.

Once again we will be helping celebrate the Boys wrestling team! It’s cold but let’s line the streets and congratulate them!
We will be doing another parade around town. Following the attached route.
Starting at the Fire Station at 5:00 and ending at the high school.

When called to grass fires, the story is often very similar on how it started. With the dry conditions we are experiencing, things can go from bad to worse in the blink of an eye.
Before performing any open burning-
- have all necessary precautions in place
- call the local dispatch (or fire chief) and report that you will be burning
- take into account future weather patterns (wind)
- trust your gut, if the fire has potential of getting out of control call 911 immediately!

UPDATE TO TIME AND ROUTE!!! Read below!!!

In celebration of the boys wrestling team, we will be parading them around town this afternoon around 2:15. This will be the route we intend to travel. We will be starting from the FIRE STATION, then to N 6th and flow through town then up to the highschool.
