Information regarding a new synthetic opioid.

🚨 Important Public Health Alert: Cychlorphine 🚨

A new and dangerous synthetic opioid called Cychlorphine is emerging. It carries a high risk of overdose that can suppress breathing and potentially lead to fatal respiratory depression.
⚠️ Know the Signs of an Opioid Overdose:
-Breathing is slow or stopped
-Person is not moving or can’t be woken up
-Pupils are tiny
-Skin feels cold and clammy
-Lips and nails appear blue
💊 What You Can Do:
Cychlorphine overdoses can be reversed with Naloxone (Narcan). If you suspect an overdose:
1️⃣ Call 911 immediately.
2️⃣ Administer Naloxone (Narcan).
3️⃣ Provide rescue breathing if necessary.

Cychlorphine is a new and potent synthetic drug being seen in the state of Kentucky. It is 10X stronger than Fentanyl and may be mixed with additional substances.

🔹 Overdoses involving Cychlorphine may require multiple doses of Narcan.
🔹 Narcan will not harm someone if opioids are not present.
🔹 Always call 911 after giving Narcan stay until help arrives.

It’s Eating Disorders Awareness Week, and while we can’t control every message our kids hear about their bodies, we can shape what they hear at home. A healthy body image grows in the everyday moments, how we talk about food, how we speak about our own bodies, and what we choose to praise. When we focus on strength, character, effort, and joy instead of appearance, we help our kids build self-worth that isn’t tied to a number on a scale.

🚨 Remember B-L-U-E to Spot an Opioid Overdose! 🚨
If you think someone might be overdosing, use this easy acronym to check:
🔵 B = Breathing (shallow or not breathing at all)
🔵 L = Lips (pale, blue, or purple)
🔵 U = Unresponsive (not reacting to voice or touch)
🔵 E = Emergency (they need help ASAP!)

If you have Naloxone (Narcan), use it—it can save their life! 🙌

🚨 How to Use Naloxone (Narcan) to Save a Life 🚨
💊 Suspect an opioid overdose? Here’s what to do:
1️⃣ Call 911 📞 for emergency help immediately!
2️⃣ Administer Narcan: Insert the nozzle into one nostril 👃 and press the plunger firmly.
3️⃣ Recovery Position: Turn the person on their side 🤲 to prevent choking.
4️⃣ No Response? After 2-3 minutes ⏱️, give another dose. Repeat if needed!
5️⃣ Stay & Monitor: Keep an eye on them 👀, provide rescue breathing if you can, and wait for help 🚑.
💡 Remember: Naloxone is safe and can save lives. Don’t hesitate to act! ❤️
